Retail

For us, it all began with retail design. We have over 25 years of experience in creating new retail concepts and formats. From strategy to full design, including in-store communication and support during rollout.

Retail design

Retail design is the art of seduction, a strategic interplay between consumer behavior, branding, and spatial design. With tools like layout & routing, lighting, materials, and merchandising, retail design brings brands to life and connects with customers.

Online and offline retail

As spatial designers, we strongly believe in the power of both offline and online channels. We believe these must be intricately interconnected, each reinforcing the other to create a synergy that transcends individual channels. We aim to create omnichannel retail environments by connecting online and offline, by looking at the entire customer experience and all associated customer journeys. A store is simply a physical touchpoint in this process.

Different look, same feel

Of course, a uniform formula is useful for some brands for many reasons. But in times when shopping is increasingly about seduction and experience, we strongly believe that retail design is more and more about 'different look, same feel'. Not every store is identical, but each is distinctively aligned with the brand's core identity. The physical store offers the ultimate chance to differentiate (which is not possible online), to tell unique stories, and surprise customers in every location they visit.

Seamless retail formats

Technology empowers retail organizations to create dynamically personalized stores that can be easily adapted to customer needs, both online and offline. To address this, we have developed the 'seamless format approach'. A modular approach for ultimate flexibility and scalability to efficiently respond to rapidly changing customer needs.

Onze retail expertise op andere gebieden

Retail is about thinking and designing from the customer's perspective. Deeply understanding how they think, act, and ultimately buy. This means that 'human-centered design' has always been in our DNA, long before it became a buzzword. Retail design is also always about clear objectives. Whether it's sales figures or customer satisfaction percentages. A store is essentially a management tool to achieve these objectives. This is how we like to see our work. Finally, a store is a spatial manifestation of the brand. Therefore, we always design from the identity of a brand or organization.
