REWE To Go opens kiosk in middle of Cologne train station

Travellers at Kölner Hauptbahnhof can now get snacks, fresh fruit and coffee directly on the platform. Lekkerland, a subsidiary of the REWE Group, opened the first REWE To Go Perronskiosk next to tracks 10/11 this week. Four more such locations will follow in the coming weeks.

A smart and compact design, created by Ce. architects & designers that is based on the design principles of the REWE To Go. We transformed the existing units on the platforms into a graphically highly recognisable REWE shell. In the station main hall located underneath, REWE already has a much larger shop of no less than 270 square metres, which conveniently serves as a stock warehouse.

Ce. translated the brand identity of REWE To Go prominently and graphically, into the exterior of this compact retail unit, seamlessly matching the tried and successful original concept

The smallest REWE To Go

As one of the leading convenience formulas in Germany, REWE To Go currently has more than 900 branches, the majority of which are at Aral petrol stations where the formula is expanding its concepts such as smart stores without cash registers and sales staff. By expanding into stations, REWE To Go strengthens its presence in high-traffic locations and the growing trend towards compact, efficient retail solutions.
