In the middle of Amsterdam's historic city centre, a fascinating transformation is underway of the new five star hotel Amstel 111. Our construction site on the Amstel, right next to the famous theatre Carré, is currently buzzing with activity, proceeding with the utmost care and respect for the monumental character of the surroundings.
Over the past period, we have taken several crucial steps:
Demolition with precision: The site was thoroughly prepared by careful demolition, leaving the surroundings intact.
Monumental support: An extensive system of auxiliary steel was installed to protect and support the adjacent historic buildings. This technical intervention ensures the stability of the monumental buildings during our works.
Preparation for underground spaces: All preparations were made for the excavation of the basements, a phase that requires skill and precision
Interior design: collaborating with great partners
Ce. is currently working on the hotel's interior design, collaborating with two renowned design studios: Roman and Williams and Studio Ilse. This collaboration aims to create maximum achievable experiences, both in the individual rooms and in the public areas.
The combination of the historic location, meticulous construction methods and leading design promises an extraordinary project right in the heart of Amsterdam.
